METARLAB

Refunds.

Fourteen days to change your mind about a subscription, no reason needed. What follows is the detail: who to ask, what cancelling does that a refund does not, and what happens to the charts you uploaded.

Fourteen days

If you subscribe and change your mind, you have fourteen days to say so and get the whole amount back. You do not have to give a reason, and it does not matter whether you used the app in the meantime.

That is more than the law requires. A service you asked to start immediately can be charged for pro rata, and for digital content the right to withdraw can be lost altogether once it has been supplied. Neither is applied here: at these prices, arguing about a fortnight's share of nineteen euros would cost more than the nineteen euros.

Your statutory rights are separate from this and are not affected by it. Where the law gives you more than this page does, the law wins.

How to ask

Write to the contact address on the legal notice, from the address the account is on, and say you want to withdraw. Nothing else is needed — no form, no reason, no phone call.

The payment is refunded by Lemon Squeezy, who are the seller of record and took the money in the first place (see the terms). The money goes back to the card or account it came from, which is the only place it can go, and normally arrives within a few working days once it has been sent.

Cancelling and refunding are different things

Cancelling
Stops the next payment. What you have already paid for keeps working until the date it runs to — you are not cut off the moment you cancel, and you do not need to wait until the last day to do it. Done from Lemon Squeezy's own portal, linked from Settings → Plan.
Refunding
Gives the money back and ends the subscription. Inside fourteen days, ask and it is done.
After the fourteen days
A yearly subscription is not refunded pro rata as a matter of course — cancel and it simply runs to its end. If something has gone wrong rather than merely changed your mind, write anyway: a subscription that never worked is not a subscription that was sold.

What happens to what you have

Your charts stay
Nothing you uploaded is deleted by a refund, a cancellation or a subscription running out. The files stay and stay readable. What changes is that you cannot add more until you are back under the free limit of two.
Your aerodromes stay
All of them, and they keep working. The free limit applies to adding another, not to keeping the ones you have.
Alerts stop
Telegram messages and browser notifications are the part that genuinely ends, because they are the part that costs something to send. The subscriptions themselves are kept rather than deleted, so subscribing again brings them back as they were.
Everything you wrote stays
Your flashcards, your quiz history, your settings. None of it is behind a plan and none of it is touched. You can take a copy of all of it at any time from Settings → Your data, subscribed or not.

If MetarLab stops

It is a personal project and it may end. If it does, anything paid for and not delivered is refunded, and the app will hand you a copy of everything it holds before it goes.

Law and jurisdiction

Spanish law applies, including Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 on consumer protection. Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer, which include being able to bring a matter before the courts where you live.
